Federal prosecutors took the first steps toward reducing the prison sentence of former Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff, currently scheduled for release in 2011 for a Florida fraud conviction.
Documents filed in federal court say Abramoff has provided “substantial assistance'' in a separate Washington corruption scandal investigation and continues to work with investigators from his prison cell in Cumberland, Md.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul F. Schwartz did not recommend how much Abramoff's sentence should be cut.

When the new appointed DOJ lawyers are put in place all convicted GOP criminals will be released. Fingers Foley might even get his job back as will the Hammer. Crime pays in the US only innocent people go to jail. Gonzo will use the kids to keep his job and lying under oath will be legal. Libby will get his job back with back pay and expenses of his trial. The White House will move on to replace all Judges that don't follow the orders of finding innocent people guilty. Judges will dismiss all GOP charges and never let another GOP criminal be charged again.
