CREW sues National Archives over Abramoff visitor logs: What is the White House trying to hide?

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) sued the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) today in an action linked to the efforts by the White House to prevent access to visitor records of Jack Abramoff and his colleagues. NARA failed to adequately respond to CREW’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for documents related to the destruction of Secret Service visitor record logs. The Bush Administration has gone to great lengths to prevent the public from seeing to the Abramoff visitor records. CREW is going to go to equally great lengths to secure access to those records.
