Walton Says No to Wilson's Bid to Avoid Libby Trial

Judge Walton said it was "impossible" to evaluate the relevancy of
Mr. Wilson's testimony until the trial, which is scheduled to begin next week, gets underway. The judge said Mr. Wilson could renew his motion to quash the subpoena if the defense actually attempts to call him as a witness. The defense has said that it is not certain whether it will seek to call Mr. Wilson and has offered to give him 48 hours notice if he is called.

Hmmm.. This is more of a strategy by the defense to use Wilson as tool in case their strategy in the case doesn't go in their favor....

Smart move on Waltons part. Now the defense will wish they never heard of Wilson if he takes the stand. After listening to him speak, the jurors will get a clear picture of why this case came to be. He has a way of speaking that anyone can understand and he has the looks to make you follow every word. Wilson the on the stand will be a big mistake for Libby.

Not happy with Walton's judgement on this...but I can understand his argument.

I feel Libby, et al are trying to harrass Wilson. And even though Wilson can hold his own...I'm sure he doesn't want to give away testimony for his civil trial with his wife, Valerie.

Go Team Fitzie!!! Looking forward to Tuesday!

Wilson will be dangerous to the defense. and I am sure that Fitz and team will strategized if Wilson takes the stand or not. It will be a big mistake on the defense side.
