Congress has the power to end the war in Iraq


experts told a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing chaired by Russ Feingold (D-WI) today. “I think the constitutional scheme does give Congress broad authority to terminate a war,” said Bradford Berenson, a Washington lawyer who was a White House associate counsel under Bush from 2001 to 2003.

With Russia getting a lot of allies, ceasefire Hamas-Fatah, helping Iran get nuclear power for electricity (and we are worried about them having the byproduct that they could use to make nuclear weapons if they have the process set up which has not been confirmed) Russia is also helping India get nuclear power for electricity (they already have nuclear weapons) and we did not vote Russia in the G8 even though they sponsored it there in Russia.
