Kentucky GOP Senate nominee Rand Paul said Monday that Democrats are trying to “drag me down” after recognizing the “success” of the tea party movement.
Paul was responding to an attempt last week by the Democratic National Committee to tie tea party leaders such as Paul to the Republican leadership.
