Ouch!
A Baltimore labor and union law firm bankrolled a “good riddance” party for Labor Department staffers happy to see the departure of their boss, Labor Secretary Elaine Chao.
The firm, Snider & Associates, spent $6,000 on the party at a Washington, D.C., restaurant, the Washington Post reports. Appearing at the event was Alexander Bastani, president of Local 12 of the American Federation of Government Employees, who led attendees in a rendition of : "Na na na na, na na na na, hey, hey, goodbye." Cake was served with the message, "Ciao to Chao.”
The law firm advertises in Local 12’s newsletter, with the message, "Local 12 trusts us. … So should you!" the story says.
The union is celebrating because it views Chao as making it difficult for Labor Department staffers to carry out the department’s mission, the story says.

And certain GOPs are showing double standards of the nomination for Labor Secretary vs. past Labor Secretary Elaine Chao.
AFL-CIO blog:
Some Republican senators, and their echo chamber of right-wing talk radio and conservative blogs, are attacking Solis over the Employee Free Choice Act, which she co-sponsored in the House. Republican senators have even suggested that if confirmed Solis should be barred from advocating for the restoration of workers’ rights to form a union and bargain for a better life, as the bill provides.
Ironically—actually hypocritically—the same Republican senators didn’t mind former President Bush’s labor secretary, Elaine Chao, shutting workers and their unions out of the Labor Department for eight years. They even cheered. She went so far as to write guest editorials against the bill
Bush's Secretary of Labor of 8 years was confirmed in just 18 days by the Senate.

An in your face moment. Looks like Elaine will have to depend alot on PaPa McConnell to get her out of all the trouble she's in. I must say Elaine's Father did very well during the Bush 8 year crime wave. How many others I wonder. Elaine's Father uses the old way of marrying off his daughters to rich powerful old men. And the US says other countries are wrong for arranged marriages. We do the same thing her or just allow it to take place if it's the right old man.
