Ted Stevens trial testimony should end Monday.

Talkleft:

Ted Stevens will return to the witness stand Monday as prosecutors continue their cross-examination. Although two senators testified for Stevens as character witnesses, a third has been in the audience lending his support: Larry Craig. You can understand why Craig wasn't asked to testify in support of Stevens' good character.

The New York Times has this preview of the trial's closing days.

Nice to see Powell is a loyal Republican who not only is willing to openly lie to the United Nations for his Party but he's willing to lie under the oath of God to save a fellow criminal friend like Ted. One can only think what the jurors think of Powell and his word of truth. I really don't think Powell knows how to tell the truth anymore he's lied so much for the GOP.

Now he's looking for a job with the Obama Administration. Why? Will he become the GOP mole to report back to his Party? Will he make sure Obama doesn't have the trust of the Foreign Leaders once they know lying Powell is on the team? Will Connie Rice look to put herself in the Obama Cabinet to continue her Republican mission?
One bad apple can destory the good ones and let's hope Obama/Biden remember Powell and Rice are not only loyal Republicans but bad apples.

Once the United Nations charges the Bush Administration with War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity, Powell and Rice might have to go to jail.
