Obama outraises McCain in 43 states, D.C.

Barack Obama dominates the overall fund-raising map in 43 states and the nation's capital -- even raising more money last month in Arizona than John McCain -- records show.

The presumptive Democratic nominee and Illinois senator also appears to be leading in Republican-friendly states such as Idaho and Utah, and not just Democratic mainstays like California and New York, records show.

More on the story.

Obama has moved up in the polls after his World tour. I guess Americans were impressed with 200,000 people coming to listen to Obama speak. As few people listen to John McCain speak and it was only because he'll put you to sleep.

SPB I bet Hillary will be Obama's VP. I put this in print for those who might say I didn't say it first.

From Pakistani Newspaper: I say let's try it here too...birds of a feather.

If president not impeached, rulers will be, says Sh Rashid

KARACHI: The government will impeach President Pervez Musharraf in August or September or will face impeachment, Awami Muslim League (AML) Chairman Sheikh Rashid Ahmad predicted on Sunday.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of a party office, he expressed concern over “the worsening situation” in the country.

The government would not reinstate sacked chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry even for half-an-hour, the AML chairman said. Rashid said that a split in the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was imminent. He said that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was a ‘dummy’ prime minister, adding that the country needed a “strong and genuine” premier. The AML chairman said that PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim should play a role in the current situation. He also noted that while the country was facing multiple crises, the government heads were traveling to Dubai. online
