CHICAGO - Presidential candidate John McCain on Sunday endorsed a proposal to ban affirmative action programs in his home state, a policy that Democratic rival Barack Obama called a disappointing embrace of divisive tactics.
In the past, McCain has criticized such ballot initiatives.
In an interview that aired Sunday, McCain was asked whether he supported an effort to get a referendum on the ballot in Arizona that would do away with race and gender-based preferences, known as affirmative action.

McCain has to change his medication. Now his State wants him removed as Senator. He has lost the minority vote. The White House is turning on him and he is not getting enough money to run for President.
We as Americans have to let this color thing go. It's getting old now. We saw 200,000 people of all colors listen to Senator Obama. Most Americans didn't even know we have already had 4 black President's who just look white and couldn't admit publicly that they were black. I just hope I live long enough to see my country look at Americans as just Americans.
