Memo to McRove on Siegelman probe: Check Dana Simpson's HJC testimony prior to talk show engagements.

A recap:

a. Rove stated that he doesn't know Dana Simpson.
b. Rove stated that he is not involved with the Siegelman probe.
c. Rove stated that he never talked to Bush about the Siegelman probe.
d. Rove's attorney stated that his client would testify in front of HJC.
e. Rove told HJC that he would testify not under oath but in writing.
f. Rove refused to testify after given HJC subpoena. Invoked Executive Privilege.
g. On Sunday talk show on ABC, Rove state that he heard of Siegelman's case from newspapers.

The more that he talks, the more that Rove is in deep trouble. Memo to Rove: a person with Executive Privilege do not talk about a case in which that person is being investigating on!

A That is correct.

A Yes.

Q Just so the record's clear, what is the phone number
for the November 18 call?
A It is 205-870-9866.

Rob Riley is Governor Bob Riley's son.
