The Committee will hold a hearing titled, “Accountability Lapses in Multiple Funds for Iraq” on Thursday, May 22, 2008, in 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.
The hearing will examine a new report to be issued by the Defense Department’s Inspector General on its investigation of the U.S. military’s disbursal of billions of dollars in U.S. appropriated funds to contractors, foreign governments, security forces, ministries, and others inside Iraq.
The following witness is expected to testify:
o Mary L. Ugone, Deputy Inspector General for Auditing, U.S. Department of Defense, Office of the Inspector General
