Boner Boy Demands Apology From Waxman for "Abusive Outburst"

Boner Boy is so desperate to save his job. I guess the tanning bed fried his brain cells. Now, he is attacking Waxman for his scolding Rep. Issa in the Oversight hearing yesterday [which Issa rightly deserved the bitchslap by Waxman]. Boner's temper tantrum is beyond nauseating...Get Boner a pacifier, please...

TPM:

Here's the statement from Boehner:

"Chairman Waxman's behavior in the Oversight & Government Reform Committee yesterday was appalling and beneath the dignity of the House. His abuse of power is further proof that House Democrats have broken their promise to run the most open and honest Congress in history. Moreover, his outrageous threats and intimidation against a fellow Committee colleague were not only unbecoming for a Member of Congress, but frankly, unbecoming for anyone who hopes to be treated as a professional. Chairman Waxman owes an apology to Mr. Issa, his Committee colleagues, and anyone who witnessed his shameful behavior. But more importantly, he owes the American people an apology because these types of heavy-handed threats have no place in the people's House."

And there is more of Boner's crying game saga. From Emptywheel at Firedoglake:

As a parting shot, there is a bit of humorous irony of the John Boehner "Crying Lame" variety. Chris Frates at Politico has a timely article up today on the hypocrisy of the GOP's leading wailer:

When a federal judge ordered Rep. Jim McDermott to pay House Minority Leader John A. Boehner and his attorneys more than $1 million in damages and legal fees for leaking an illegally taped phone call to the media, Boehner said he pursued the case because “no one — including members of Congress — is above the law.”

Why, then, is the Ohio Republican trying to squash similar lawsuits against telecommunications companies who cooperated with the government in warrantless electronic surveillance, ask the attorneys behind the class action suits.

“Mr. Boehner is trying to kick millions of Americans out of court in a wiretapping case while collecting more than $1 million in his own wiretapping case. It’s the height of hypocrisy and seems to indicate that members of Congress are entitled to their day in court but the average American is not,” said Kevin Bankston, a senior staff attorney at the consumer rights nonprofit the Electronic Frontier Foundation....Bankston said he found it insulting that Boehner would attack the attorneys representing millions of Americans as money-grubbers while he and his attorneys were “lining their own pockets.”

Boehner screams and cries to get immunity for Bush, Cheney and the telcos while denying citizens the very rights he brandishes like a peacock.

Where is the Bug Man when you need him. None of this would be happening be happening if the Bug Man was in charge. I always wondered by the Law Makers kissed the Bug Man's pinky finger now I know why. He ruled the school with the power of a look. With Boner Boy in charge it's fallen apart fast and all he does is cry. Now it was clear Issa needed to save the man for the White House. Waxman as Chairman has the floor as the Leader. I wish he had kick Issa out on his butt. Boner's remarks showed he's not a Leader nor does he have a brain. He could have handled this better and more professional.
Boner's actions show just how made off the Republican Party is.
