This idea if from Senior Senators who are only looking out for themselves not the voters. We watched what happen to Gore and Kerry, now these guys want to deny Democrats the right to vote. Richards made his choice and now he's attacking Hillary. If these guys are careful they might regret what they have said. Now each one will be running themselves for their jobs look for a Republican opponent to say the same thing.

If McCain had dropped out he wouldn't be the candidate now. This isn't for the party it's personal and these guys know it. Now we see what Democrats are working for their own interest and not the American people. Obama isn't the candidate yet until all the voters have had their say.

Why is Hillary insisting she can win, when its mathematically impossible?

Yes Jackie you are right McCain was toast in the polls before the primaries started and Rudia was the front runner. Wow did things change.

Our biggest fearshould be if McCain ends up in office.

Well after reading the comments it's clear understanding the Electoral System confusing some of us. I spoke to my neighbor who got here citizenship about 5 years ago and to my surprise she knew how it works too. I was singing to the choir as I thought I'd have to explain it as she voted for Senator Obama.

Government lesson in how the US Electoral System works. We have to forms called Electoral and Popular Vote. The American people represent the Popular and Delegates are given by the population size of each State.

Obama has 1625 and Hillary has 1486 with Edwards 18 the other candidates didn't have enough votes to get delegates.

Obama could win all the delegates if Hillary pulled out now. Yes as the Delegates who have to choose the one person left in the race, just like McCain got. Hillary can't win the enough Delegates but she can win the Popular Vote with Penn. large number of voters.

The Senior Senators want her out because she would be able to win the Popular Vote there by having to give up her Delegates. This is a two way system. As was taught in 2000 Gore won by a Million votes the Popular Vote over Bush. But Karl Rove was smart as he fixed the Electoral Votes.

Now for the end of the class. When all the people have been given their right to vote. There will be no winner with Electoral Votes but their will be a winner with the Popular Vote. The Delegates have to decide will they go with the people's choice or with the Party's choice.

This race is History making either way. Most woman have commented they so much as hate Hillary and would never vote for her under and situation. As we're about to have the fight of our lives for Woman's Rights with the Supreme Court voting to bring the Rights bill down. The fight for woman's rights goes back to the Middle Ages. In American it started in 1820 or 188 years ago woman have even given their lives for what we have today. Yet with all the freedoms today woman still attack other woman even knowing they are more then qualified. It's funny when I hear woman put down successful woman like Martha Stewart but in the same breath when they want their rights they look for support. There are move female voters then men. I raised my sons to not be sexist but to respect a woman and value her as equal. I hear woman today who don't even value themselves. Hillary might not win, but it will be a lesson to future generations of woman. No matter how hard to work and become 100 times better don't look for support from woman. Move to a country that gives equal opportunity without regard to gender.

When Obama ran for the House of Rep. and lost he asked a female Senator for help in running for the Senate. Yes think of it a young man stepped forward and asked a woman to help him. He didn't think of her as anything but an experienced person who had the knowledge to help him get what he wanted. He didn't ask a man but a woman. With her help and backing he won that Senate Seat. Oh by the way that woman was Senator Hillary Clinton. No where to be found was Senator's Kerry, Kennedy, Leahy, Dodd or Richards.

That's my Government class for today if you have any questions just ask a person who passed the US citizenship test those are some of the many questions they have to answer to become an American Citizen.

Sorry for the class 101 in Government Electoral.

Now I read on Rawstory that the Seniors are looking to put Gore as the Presidential candidate and just put Obama or Clinton as VP. Now that might back fired. Yes Gore is a popular man but he wasn't in the campaign. Americans came out and voted for the candidate of their choice, to push Gore in might move Democrats to pick alternate party. Now it's known McCain is just another Bush so if you look how low the Republican count was and majority Republicans don't want McCain.

If the Senior Democrats don't give the people their right to choice, no body will get in as President in the Democratic Party.

I can't wait for the Republicans to call for an early withdraw when one of these Senior Democrats run for re-election. Why goes around comes around. What Kerry, Kennedy, Dodd and others sing a different tune when it's their turn.

Let the voters, vote and after this election, dump the whole damn delegate system and the electoral college because both were set up by people who said they believed in democracy yet were too afraid to let true democracy actually happen. The system was set up to still have something between the voters that they could still manipulate.

We can still elect delegates to go to the convention because we know they want to go party it up but they should not get in between the popular vote and the election results. They absolutely, positively should never, ever second guess the voters. The same goes for the people who want to put in Gore for president. Gore didn't run so putting him in would be not that much different than a coup except there would be no tanks and guns. I don't know which people came up with that idea but they better put the whiskey glasses down.

The electoral college stood in the way of putting Gore in the White House.

Let the people decide and let's get rid of all of these systems that interfere with real democracy.
