Person of the Year: Vladimir Putin — A Tsar Is Born — No one is born with a stare like Vladimir Putin's. The Russian President's pale blue eyes are so cool, so devoid of emotion that the stare must have begun as an affect, the gesture of someone who understood that power might be achieved …
Why We Chose Putin
At significant cost to the principles that free nations prize, he's brought Russia roaring back to the table of world power

Besides dumping Kristol, this was another good choice by Time.
My choice as well. He's so strong and powerful and a great President. Not bad on the eyes either. Now if I were a reporter I'd ask Putin how he likes his eggs in the morning sunny side up or scrambled. It's a woman question Mr. Kitty. I think the runners up were great too. The last Harry Potter book is brilliant and of course Al Gore opened the eyes of the world on Global Warming. Now the Bush/Cheney are trying to make the US Communist, Putin and just watch how far we fall. Don't let me get started on the hippocratic Rev. Huckabee or King Solomon Mitt with his hundreds of concubines.
