Oversight Committee Requests Information on TSA Traveler Identity Verification Website

The Oversight Committee requests documents that would explain why a TSA website that collected Social Security numbers and personal information from the public operated for several days without basic security measures.

The college I graduated from Alumni records were broke into with, SS numbers, then a laptop from HR was stolen with SS's on my current job. As far as I am concerned we need to use a number other than SS, a separate one for college, then employee number on job etc. Yes, I have credit monitoring now.

Every since the Gerbil has crawled in the WH, our privacy in this country has been nothing but an open book. Glad Waxman is investigating this.
