Happy Birthday, Lincoln!

"If you would win a man to your cause, first convince him that you are his sincere friend. Therein is a drop of honey that catches his heart, which ... when once gained, you will find but little trouble in convincing his judgment of the justice of your cause."
---Abe Lincoln

Springfield is the place to go if you want to learn about Lincoln. No doubt.
I have been hearing that for Obama'a annoucement there were crews from Japan, France, Germany etc. Unbelievable full of media from all over the country and the world. I am sure everyone got out safely enough before loosing their lunch on the sight of Rove and all the other GOP down there for Lincoln's birthday. Most were not off of work, (like me) most schools are getting Presidents day off only, and I believe the post office etc.

Yeah, pretty weird day yesterday. Unfortunately, no day off for me yesterday. But, only PBS last night mention Lincoln's birthday. It is too bad the other MSM never mention Lincoln. I would loose my appetite if Tubby McTreason were in my area. LOL!

p.s. My post office was open. They will closed on Preisdent's Day.
