The children of late President Gerald Ford spent every hour of public viewing in the United States Capitol to greet tens of thousands of everyday Americans who came to pay tribute to their father. When President George W. Bush showed up, the Ford children were nowhere to be seen.
According to a Capitol Hill source, Bush is the only person to have the Rotunda cleared for his visit, bringing a screeching halt to the public's visit to the casket. Other former Presidents and political VIP's went to the front of the line, but nonetheless greeted fellow mourners while paying their condolences. Further, Bush reportedly spent only seven seconds at the casket and promptly left the building.
While the nation, including Democrats and Republicans alike, joins together in honoring the service and life of a former President, Dubya doesn't seem to get it. Instead, he seems to just be going through the motions.

I saw a small clip on the news, the Chimp looked bored and Laura was grinning like a crazed person.
Well I guess that's not news, thats how they are at all events.
Well the Ford family knew what all this fuss was about. Notice none of the Nixon girls were there as their Father was suppose to be a good friend of Gerald Ford. George made a fool of himself by talking about Ford's military record. Talk about honesty and integrity well that's something Bush/Cheney/Hastert know nothing about. Yes we need a President now to heal the country yet again for the corruption of the current Administration. Ford's daughter had the look that speaks volumes and it was kiss my butt you fake people.
He needed a drink, Chicago Native. The dead Ford screwed the Gerbil. That is why he gave only 7 seconds to pay his respects to Ford. The bottle was waiting for him at Crawford. The Ford family knew what the Gerbil was trying to pull. And Ford's daughter, Sharon, is a pistol. The body language from her around the Gerbil was priceless..
