Rumsfeld hasn't read Iraq Study Group report; Critiques 'war on terror' phrase

This is nothing new...

Outgoing In an interview with columnist Cal Thomas, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld admitted that he hasn't read the Iraq Study Group report, only excerpts, and critiqued the Bush Administration's "war on terror" phrase, even though he made frequent use of it.

The interview is billed as the first one Rumsfeld has given since handing in his resignation the day after Republicans lost their majority positions in both the Senate and House.

That really doesn't surprise me much. Like him or not, Rumsfeld is just that kind of person. He does what he wants to do (or not do!)

Just found this blog by random and wanted to comment since I've been reading your articles : )

Take Care!

Hello Michael!

You are right. Rummy is not different from the chimpster or Darth Cheney: they do what they want to do and when. But, it took a major change in November and a new majority leader to tell the chimpster what to do and hire the FDR Secretary of Defense...Thank you for sharing...

The University of Illinois President wrote a book on leadership styles and Rummy is considered a Reptile style manager.
