CA recorder's office longer accept affidavits and notices for recording unless there is a statute or a court order that authorizes or requires the document to be recorded

Based on Government Code 27201 (a) and County Counsel opinion, effective April 1, 2011 the Recorder's Office will no longer accept Affidavits and Notices for recording unless there is a Statute or a Court Order that authorizes or requires the document to be recorded.
