Correction: Reagan raised the debt ceiling 18 times not 11. Obama said that in his news conference. But, you are right. Both Democrat and Republican Presidents raised the debt ceiling more than once. This is nothing but political games that the lawmakers are playing. We are lose from this regardless if you are rich, poor, or middle class. It is a deadly game that they are playing with.
