Here is a comment from the JL blog yesterday about Blago trial:

I just can't believe this Blago Circus, just as the local Ch 7 ABC news was signing off--they reported 7 huge crates of his memorabilia from his time as governor signage, vanity pictures etc. was being displayed and auctioned off--proceeds supposedly to go to Children's Hospital....because Blago can't pay the bill.
He cannot pay counsel--when there is a retrial so it will come from the taxpayers.
This whole thing is so sickening. Pt Barnum. The jury foreman was so lucid and respectable, the other jurors too. I just want the circus to leave town.
I hear you Anon. But, I wouldn't pay a dime to Blago's defense case.

Thanks SP,
I did go to the Blago Blogs at WTTW Chicago Tonight and there was a comment from a juror who had sat on a jury involved in a drug case and they were hung in a similar way. But--when the case was retried, a guilty verdict was found.
Under 'Blago is Guilty' I could only comment that the jurors who tried to sway the holdout, just couldn't get across the idea that the "attempted" sale of the senate seat--is a crime, just as an attempted terrorist act is crime. People are glad that any attempted terrorist plot is foiled and they should be glad that the attempted selling of the senate seat is too!
The Blago Circus moves on--he has air time on a variety of shows quite soon-- it does make me sick.
