I don't know what to say but Blago belongs in prison. An anonymous blogger posted last week that he/she was sick of the circus at the Blago trail and wish it would go away.
I saw on the news how people are buying momento to help out on Blago's defense fund. Gawd, those people are so stupid to fall for Blago playing victim. Glad you are back Kittybowtie. What is your take on Fitzgerald retrying the case?
The problem, I think, was that SCOTUS did indeed rule that the honest services law was too vague. Prior to that ruling, Fitz & Co. re-indicted him with something complicated just in case SCOTUS ruled the way it did.
Unfortunately, most people are not going to be ready for something complicated. The couple of jurors who spoke to the media seemed like smart guys but not everybody is smart.
The couple of jurors who spoke out said there was a lone holdout and that they were not going to get anywhere with her. The foreman said what have would happen next might be a bunch of yelling so she really must have been stubborn. One of the jurors said he thought the brother should be tried separately.
Didn't know Putin was helping with the fires. but, I can see that he had his shirt on. lol By the way, Jackie is on a long vacation. She emailed me. She still reads the blog.
Thanks for the wrap up of the Blago trial. but, I do agree that Blago and his brother should have had their trials separately. The eye on the prize is Blago. But, I do agree that the honest service law is a bit too vague and not strengthen. Will be interesting what Fitz and team's re-indictment of Blago. Seriously, Blago is guilty of abusing his power as Guv.

The cat is still recovering from the Baloneybitch verdict. The one guilty verdict still makes him:
GUILTY
and
CONVICTED FELON
and
LIAR
Now, will someone please keep an eye on the bank account(s) of the lone juror holdout for at least the next three or four years?
This is Illinois.

Speaking of MIA, does Jackie know Putin was putting out forest fires around Moscow last week?
