Deputy Enforcement Director Joins SEC Legal Team In Goldman Case

WSJ:

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--The deputy director of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement has joined the legal team in the SEC's civil case against Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS).
Lorin L. Reisner, the enforcement division's deputy director, filed a notice of appearance in its civil lawsuit on Tuesday, so that he may officially appear at court hearings as part of the commission's legal team.

The SEC has alleged Goldman didn't tell investors in a structured financial product tied to subprime mortgages that hedge fund Paulson & Co. helped select the underlying portfolio of mortgages and had bet against the performance of the product.
