FCIC to hold hearings next week on subprime mortgage mess

Bailout Sleuth:

The
Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission announced its next round of hearings, which will examine the subprime mortgage crisis.

The hearings, titled "Subprime Lending and Securitization and Government-Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs)," are scheduled for next Wednesday through Friday, beginning at 9 a.m. each day.

Scheduled to testify are former
Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, former Citigroup Inc. Chief Executive Chuck Prince, Comptroller of the Currency John Dugan and former Fannie Mae Chief Executive Daniel Mudd.
