I had to turn on the spam for older posts but they got you fresh.
The GOP is turning out to dig their heels in on everything, just for the sake of being difficult and uncooperative. It's getting old.
Illinois is not paying bills, and we will be lucky to have any public schools with an art or music program next year. Everytime you turn on the local news school districts are laying off, in the numbers close to 100, 70-90 being most common.
And then I listened to the GOP Gov contender, not pretty. Things are a mess.
CPS (Chicago Public Schools) of which I am an alumni, anyhow big protests today because of all the afterschool sports programs being nixed. Yep, the few that will get a college scholarship for sports that dream will be coming to an end.
I heard about the rise of the healthcare in Illinois, Third. And I do know that the GOP will turn up the heat in the election if healthcare bill passes. But, their downfall will be their voting no for the stimulus, healthcare, unemployment extension, and so on.
