Clare Short: Tony Blair lied and misled parliament in build-up to Iraq war --Blair 'lied' over war preparations --Attorney general 'misled' government Clare Short, the former international development secretary, today accused Tony Blair of lying to her and misleading parliament in the build-up to the Iraq invasion. Short, giving evidence to the Chilcot inquiry into the war, also said that the 2003 conflict had put the world in greater danger of international terrorism. Declassified letters between Short and Blair released today show she believed that invading Iraq without a second UN resolution would be illegal and there was a significant risk of a humanitarian catastrophe. She told the inquiry that she had a conversation with Blair in 2002. He told her that he was not planning for war against Iraq and that the evidence has since revealed that he was not telling the truth at that point, she said.

Emmanuel should have used another term. But Palin went way overboard.

As far as McCain goes, he really needs to get over it big time, he lost by a lot. It wasn't like the small, small margin that Kerry or Gore lost (and really there was a lot of questionable voter activies that are really shady, and really suspicious that Gore and Kerry lost)

But Gramps was with out a doubt blown away in the election, clearly blown out of the water, not even close.

Kerry and Gore got over it.

Watch both the Democrat and GOP Governor Primaries, in Illinois get ugly, right now they are way too close to call.

Rahm is who he is. He has a potty mouth but he needs to think before he speaks because his enemies and wingnuts like Palion are watching his every move. You are right. Palin went overboard with Rahm's comments but, then again, this is Sarah Palin, the drama queen. She knows as well as I do that Rahm is not going anywhere as Chief of Staff.

Grandpappy McSame needs to get over the election and move on. He's been blowing too much on his soup at Applebee's. Time for Johnny to get a nap often.

I noticed now reports for an apology from Sarah who called Obama Sambo or Hillary a b*tch. Sarah is reported by her Father of calling her son retarded yet no problem. Rush Limbaugh uses the word plus many racist words with never being ask to apologize. McCain called his wife a word so bad it can't be printed yet nothing wrong. Cheney shouted a bad word on the House Floor with not one person saying a word. Now this report is exactly what Obama was talking about wasting time on stupid stuff and leaving the importent things out.
