NBC Cafeteria Celebrates Black History Month With Fried Chicken Special

Fried chicken, “in honor of Black History Month” by NBC?

Questlove, the band leader and drummer for The Roots (the house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon)
tweeted this picture from the NBC Commissary at 30 Rock, with the comment: “Hmm HR?”

Now is NBC going to break out tacos, burritos, margaritas, Corona beer, sombrero, and so on for Cinco Del Mayo day, May 5th?

The best soul food I've had was from a classmate who's Mother was from the South. Yes she is white and I wasn't interested in going to dinner at her house. But I did and the smell was so good as I walked toward her home. Now I was born and raised in NJ and thought like most people only blacks could cook soul food. I grew up and visited the South later and again learned the lesson for myself. Southen Cooking is done by all Southern people not by color. But of course some like to keep the fake stories alive. I never heard of mexican peppers in corn bread, that's a new one for me. Yes I'm black and don't cook so if the chicken is good I'll eat it if not I'll go to McDonalds.
