Arhnuld: Florida just for old people

Time to ducktape the Governator.

More on the news:

Mr Schwarzenegger took a swipe at the two other states in a speech in Silicon Valley promoting his own state as a destination for tourists and businesses.
"No matter where you go in the world, people still want to come to California," he said. "There's no one screaming 'I can't wait to get to Iowa.' That I can guarantee you. They want to come here to California."
Mr Schwarzenegger said that, while California has the economic diversity of Hollywood, technology companies, tourism and agriculture, many states are known for just one thing.
He said: "Like one state is known for its potatoes, one state is known for its oil – and another state like Florida is known for the old people." His comments at the Next American Economy conference brought a swift response from Iowa and Florida.

Iowa ranks very low for corruption in politics. It also ranks very high in its economy.

It is about time the economists get off their butts and start talking about the role corrupt and/or crazy politics plays in state and local economies.

Bad politics/corruption and Bad economies (not in order):

Illinois
California
New York
Florida
Nevada
Louisiana

Good politics and decent economies:

Iowa
Nebraska
South Dakota
Kansas (nevermind the religious crazies there)

I hear the Illinois and California are tied for first place. But if Cohen does not drop out soon we may have the first place spot.

Cohen is out!!

Mama won a bet--Not only would Cohen drop out but he would make the announcement during the Superbowl, which gives him the least amount of attention.

Mama won a nice breakfast.
