Former baseball player Mark McGwire admits using steroids

NEW YORK (AP) - Mark McGwire finally came clean Monday, admitting he used steroids when he broke baseball's home run record in 1998.

McGwire said in a statement sent to The Associated Press on Monday that he used steroids on and off for nearly a decade.

"I wish I had never touched steroids," McGwire said in a statement. "It was foolish and it was a mistake. I truly apologize. Looking back, I wish I had never played during the steroid era."

Who would have ever guessed by his unnatural body look, that this was the case?

He'll get a pass and he was smart to wait until the Statue of Limitations ran out so he couldn't be charged with lying under oath. Look it's like as bad as Tiger Woods cheating on his wife, Mark just used drugs for many many years and lied about it. He will still be elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame but you can bet Bonds will go to jail for doing the same thing not just as long.
