CEOs to testify on 'Volcker rule' on February 4

The witnesses will be: Mr. Gerald Corrigan, Managing Director, Goldman Sachs; Professor Simon Johnson, Ronald A. Kurtz Professor of Entrepreneurship, Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Mr. John Reed, Former CEO, Citigroup; Professor Hal Scott, Nomura Professor of International Financial Systems, Harvard Law School; and Mr. Barry Zubrow, Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer, JPMorgan Chase. Additional witnesses will be announced at a later date.

“Volcker rule” was named after former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker who conceived of and lobbied the administration for the new rules. Volcker will testify before the Senate Banking Committee on February 2.
