Rep. Grayson calls out Reid on healthcare reform:"Get on with it."

Politico:

Ever colorful Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson has some choice words for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, "get on with it."

In an email to campaign boosters, Grayson blasts Reid for holding up health care reform in order to accommodate Republican Sen. Olympia Snowe and asks supporters to sign a petition calling on Reid to "pass real health care reform now."

He writes:

"It's time for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to get on with it. For the last six months, Democrats have been dwelling, debating, and hoping for Republican Olympia Snowe to vote for health care reform. Why?"Olympia Snowe was not elected President last year. Olympia Snowe has no veto power in the Senate. Olympia Snowe represents a state with one half of one percent of America's population.

"Sign my petition to Harry Reid to pass real health care reform now. Americans should not have to wait any longer."

He then goes on to argue that Republicans oppose reform and Obama. To illustrate his point he writes, "If Barack Obama has a BLT sandwich tomorrow for lunch, they will try to ban bacon."
