President Obama had given his first UN General Assembly speech.In yesterday morning's speech to the United Nations General Assembly, President Obama covered a range of topics—all under the umbrella of his desire for leaders to recognize the "common future" of a world in which "the interests of peoples and nations are shared." On a side note, the seats for Obama's speech was full.
Whereas former President George Bush used his final speech before the United Nations General Assembly to call on the world body to unite against the global threat of terrorism. Mr. Bush said extremism poses a serious threat to emerging democracies such as Iraq and Afghanistan, whose new governments he said need the world's support.
