Two words: Simply fabulous.

Very moving. That is all I can say. And a very somber audience inside and outside the event. This memorial was not only a memorial of celebration for a world icon and humanitarian but a clear and strong message to the media for the scrunity of Michael Jackson. Several strong messages from the memorial struck a cord that I hope the media got the message:

1. Rev. Al Sharpton. And he said the line that needed to be said, speaking to his children: "There's nothing strange about your daddy. It was people's reactions to him that were strange."

2. Marlon Jackson's quote: "Maybe the media will leave him [Michael] alone."

3. Actress Brooke Shields' speech about her friendship with Michael as she is a child star too. She shares her memories and relationship of Michael.

4. Congresswoman Lee's speech as she tells how Congress and Black Caucus took a moment of silence of the death of Michael.

5. Siblings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King's speeches as they recall Michael calling Coretta Scott King when she suffered a stroke and told her that he has been praying for her.

6. Finally, Michael's 11 year old daughter, Paris, gave a very tearful speech about her father. [I hope that media honed into to that as she misses her father]. Paris said, "Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine, And I just wanted to say I love him — so much."
