After saying Obama has ‘hatred for white people,’ Beck claims, ‘I’m not saying that he doesn’t like white people.’
Discussing the upcoming meeting at the White House between President Obama, Henry Louis Gates, Jr. and Officer Jim Crowley, Glenn Beck declared that it was “unbelievable” that the three would meet for a “teachable moment” about a sensitive issue in American life. “Who needs to learn what here?” asked Beck, adding, “this president has exposed himself, I think, as a guy, over and over and over again, who has a deep-seated hatred for white people, or white culture.” Challenged by Brian Kilmeade, Beck then claimed that he wasn’t saying Obama “doesn’t like white people”:

KILMEADE: But listen, you can’t say he doesn’t like white people. David Axelrod’s white, Rahm Emanuel’s his chief of staff, this, I think 70 percent of the people we see everyday are white. Robert Gibbs is white.
BECK: I’m not saying that he doesn’t like white people. I’m saying he has a problem. He has a, this guy is, I believe, a racist. Look the way, look at the things he has been surrounded by.
For some reason, Bill O'Reilly doesn't think Lou Dobbs should get the boot for spreading right-wing falsehoods
Nonetheless, O'Reilly seemed to think Monday night on his Fox News show that the Southern Poverty Law Center not only was "overreacting" to Lou Dobbs' promotion of the "Birther" conspiracy theories, but that they were attacking Dobbs' First Amendment rights in demanding that CNN remove him. He had on the SPLC's Richard Cohen to discuss it:

O'Reilly: Look, I still disagree with you calling for his head. I don't mind you coming out and saying you disagree with him, that it's totally absurd, it's wrong to exploit it, he's playing upon fears, there might be a racial component, although I don't think Lou Dobbs is a racist at all -- ah --
Cohen: When's enough, Bill? When's enough, enough? I mean, Lou's been doing this for years.
O'Reilly: It's never enough, enough. And in a free-speech society, Mr. Cohen, it's never enough's enough. Freedom of speech allows you to go up to the line without -- if Lou Dobbs was causing danger to someone, then you would be legitimate in calling for his firing. But he is not. All he's doing is bloviating. It's just bloviating.
Giuliani Falsely Claims Obama Rejected ‘Bipartisan’ Health Care By Taking ‘Tort Reform’ ‘Off The Table’
On CNBC yesterday, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani claimed that President Obama made health care reform “an entirely political program” when he “took tort reform off the table.” “How can you ask Republicans to be part of a bipartisan group” without discussing tort reform, asked Giuliani:

GIULIANI: I thought when President Obama took tort reform off the table, you know, doing something about the excessive cost for doctors being sued, he made it an entirely political program. I mean how can you ask Republicans to be part of a bipartisan group when you take tort reform, which is one of the major causes of expense in the health care system off the table? Shouldn’t that be part of, shouldn’t that be part of a whole re-ogranization of health care?
WaPo reporter: Birthers get media attention because ‘there is no videotape of Obama being born.’
Yesterday in an online chat, Washington Post reporter Ben Pershing was asked why “birthers” and other conspiracy theorists such as those claiming that former top Clinton White House aide Vince Foster was murdered “get play on the real media” while others such as the “9/11 Truthers” don’t. But instead of denouncing the birther nonsense, Pershing appeared to justify the mainstream media’s attention on this (non)issue:

Ben Pershing: Perhaps because there is an actual videotape of the planes hitting the World Trade Center that billions of people around the world have seen, while there is no videotape of Obama being born in Hawaii or Vince Foster committing suicide.
Also, for what this is worth, there is no bill in Congress declaring 9/11 to have been a giant conspiracy. But there is a bill in the House calling for presidential candidates to provide proof of citizenship. And there was a congressional investigation of Foster’s death.
FOX News Martha MaCallum freaks on parking attendant
Here's a sample of the "Don't you know who I am" syndrome from a FOX News anchor via CityFile:
Martha MacCallum may look like just another cutesy blonde anchor on Fox News. But it seems she has a darker side, too. A tipster tells us MacCallum threw quite the tantrum yesterday at a parking garage around the corner from the studios of Fox News when she turned up with her daughter in tow and her BMW wasn't waiting for her with the keys in the ignition. The outrage!
Infuriated that someone of her importance wasn't being treated with the the respect normally given to a B-list cable news anchors, our tipster heard her shout at the attendant, "Do you know who I am? Do you have any clue? I'm on Fox News!" MacCallum dressed down the garage employee for a several more minutes as her teenage daughter—who looked a bit nonplussed about the meltdown—stood by.

Clarence Page was interviewed on the Chicago Morning news, and said "Beck is a sensationalist and an entertainer" when asked about these comments. I have to agree with Page on this. Also put the rest of Faux Nutwork Noise personalities, Weasel, Falfel King etc in this same category.
