When the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on Thurgood Marshall's nomination to the Supreme Court, the man who later became the first black justice faced questions along the lines of, "Are you prejudiced against the white people of the South?"
Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), now chairman of the Judiciary Committee, today recalled the opposition to Marshall in the context of Sonia Sotomayor's nomination to the Court.
In a speech at the University of the District of Columbia's law school, Leahy said that some of the criticisms of Sotomayor have been "shameless" and "wrong."
He didn't name any opponents, but he singled out the comment — made by former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) — that Sotomayor was a member of a "Latino KKK."
Leahy then quoted from segregationists' opposition to Marshall. "Give me a break. Let's not go back to those kind of days," he said.

This is the only thing left for racist to say and it's gotten old. When you visit California you wont know what race a person is anymore. Thanks to God more Americans are mixed so like President Obama everyone is covered. I guess that was the plan all along to end the head and racism in the USA. Those who now yell the loudest are made because they have mixed family blood and can't change it.
I love History and I wondered what made Hilter hate the Jews so much. I learned Hilter was Jewish and that was what he hated the most. Something he couldn't change and he took it out on other Jewish people. Tan Crazy is mixed blood and it's killing him inside so he attacks his own people. Notice how those who yell the loudest about hating Gays are really Gay themselves. Foley spoke up against child molesters and was given the job to protect US kids, later we learned he was the molester himself. Who's next on the list for exposure? The Pastor who worked in the White House to stop Gays Rights was having an affair with a man and using church funds to pay for the services, now that takes guts.
