UPDATE: MSNBC's Pete Williams is reporting that the suspect was an elderly man who belonged to white-supremacist organizations. More details shortly.

Good God. This looks like the latest episode in what is looking like the spate of right-wing violence we've been predicting:
WASHINGTON - At least two people were shot at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington on Wednesday, authorities say.
D.C. police spokeswoman Traci Hughes said a person walked into the museum with a rifle and shot a guard. Hughes says the shooter was also shot.
Hughes says the victims' conditions were not known. Both were being rushed to a hospital.

The GOP is having thier nutjobs crawl out of the wood work and kill abortion doctors, shooting at the anti-Nazi museum. And they complain when the Democrats ties themselves to a tree to save a forest?
Yikes, it's looking like the GOP is going nuts now that the GOP is not running (pilaging, raping) the country.
Yes the wing nuts have stayed low for a long time now their out in full force. What's strange is how we have home grown terrortist yet no body is doing anything about it. We will see many more innocent people being killed by these groups. Now to the real reason. Hate and racism ruled until!. Barack Obama not only won black votes but white and all races. The Electorial votes told the story and this cause the KKK to regroup. Now it's hard as God wanted it to be. Barack is black and white which is exactly what the US is. I wondered how God would save America. When I was young I thought He let people die out and as new babies were born life would change. Again He fooled me as He is making our country color blind by allowing Americans not to know what race they really are. Think of it like Heaven with all people living in peace.
I'm looking forward to the Iran election as we just might see change there also.
