Dick still in crosshairs of Senate Intelligence probe

Former Vice President Dick Cheney isn’t out of the woods yet for his role in briefing Congress on the Bush Administration’s secretive harsh interrogation program.
In a carefully worded statement to Mother Jones’ David Corn for an article Wednesday, a spokesman for Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Dianne Feinstein indicated that the conduct of individuals who briefed
Congressmembers on the CIA’s interrogation program is under review.
“The Senate intelligence committee’s study includes an examination of how the committee was briefed on the CIA’s detention and interrogation program,” Phil LaVelle, a Feinstein spokesperson, was quoted as saying. “This includes briefings of committee leadership, and is not limited by who conducted the briefing.”
The Intelligence Committee’s probe has been ongoing — quietly — since March.
But “there have been no public hearings,”
Corn writes. “In fact, Feinstein has made no commitment to hold hearings on this subject or to release a public report when the investigation is completed. The committee said in March that its investigation would take about a year.
Read on.
Dick is certainly in hot water and not off the hook since it is clear who was thr ruler of the White House for 8 years:

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SPB

I love Coldplay and will get to see them at their New York Event. Yes I can't dance like I use to but I find the strength to dance to this. I know every word and sing as loud as I can. Now Apple's Father is something else. After learning the words to this song it should be declared as Bush's Legacy Theme Song. Every word decribes his Administration and Saint Peter will not be calling George W. Bush's name either. I'll let everyone know what happens at the Concert I am really looking forward to singing and dancing like I did when I was 16 years old. Don't worry Peaches will be with me and I will most likely sleep alot after the event. I saw Jame Blunt and it took me two weeks to recover.

I didn't realize that the Cold Play would get you so excited, Jackie. The group song and lyrics really coincide with the role of Darth Cheney in the WH. We all thought the ruler of WH was the Gerbil but the Gerbil was simply a puppet. Bush's national theme song is "Vacation" by the Go-Gos.

Bil, and Jackie,

I know both of you were smart enough to figure out in the first Gerbil term, if not the first year that he was not smart enough to run anything, and that Darth was.

Too many intelligent fair and balanced reporters (leaving the Nutwork out) would say things like:

~Cheney has a different role than any VP has ever had.

~Cheney has more power than any VP ever had.

~There has never been a VP like Cheney before.

~Bush relies on his VP more than any other President.

~Cheney plays a much different role as VP than we have ever seen.

and so on....

Without coming right out and saying the Gerbil was Cheney's puppet.

All you have to do is do the math on who took the most vacation in the last 8 years: Bush or Cheney. Cheney was strategically put in politically and financially by Bush and Poppy Bush: To run the WH and this country like a fortune 500 corporate business.

That was hilarious. Someone needs to compare him to Calvin 'Do Nothing' Coolidge. Didn't he sleep something like ten or twelve hours a day?

If it is true, it's the weed and the bottle that he yearned for.
