Jeane Palfrey's criminal attorney responds to Sibley's new book

And Sibley responds back.
As a reminder, Montgomery Blair Sibley was Jeane Palfrey's criminal attorney. Sibley was replaced by Preston Burton to defend Ms. Palfrey in last year' s criminal trial.

Preston Burton Responds By Montgomery Blair Sibley My book, Why Just Her, was released on May 1 and received a fair amount of publicity. During [a Fox 5] piece, Jeane’s criminal trial attorney, Preston Burton made a comment: "You can draw whatever conclusions you wish from the perspective of a suspended attorney who was discharged from the criminal case and had no role in the trial. I don’t care what he says about me or the case... what offends me is how deeply his actions have upset Ms. Palfrey’s mother." Methinks he protests too much... First, Jeane gave me explicit directions that I was to make sure that her story was told. Moreover, Blanche Palfrey, Jeane’s mother, also asked me to see that Jeane’s story was told.

Below is an email provided by Sibley from his blogsite. Burton sent an email to Sibley and the three U.S. assistant attorneys who prosecuted Jeane Palfrey:

Subject: RE: U.S. v. 803 Capitol Street Vallejo, CA et al.

Blair, I believe your pleading is incorrect based on my discussions with Blanche Palfrey. Blanche orally requested that I represent her individual interests and those of the estate. I confirmed that request with her this morning following the receipt of your email. I am sending her a formal retainer letter to confirm that is her desire. Preston

What you see isn't always what it really is! This will be interesting as it unfolds. Jean knew alot about who was doing what. Some people who worked as insiders weren't on Jean's side. As the truth comes to light so will the facts and secrets be revealed.

Yes, she did know...and she went down as more of a patriot, by spilling the beans- than some of those who used her agency.
