Dick's 'undisclosed location' revealed thanks to Biden

Oops, Biden did it again. Said too much, that is.
Newsweek contributing Washington editor Eleanor Clift relays a very revealing anecdote over at one of the magazine's blogs.
Vice President Biden, it seems, in late March told a table of people at the annual Gridiron Club Dinner where Dick Cheney hid out after the 9/11 attacks: a bunker underneath the Naval Observatory in Washington, where vice presidents have lived since 1974. Here's the story:
Ever wonder about that secure, undisclosed location where Dick Cheney secreted himself after the 9/11 attacks? Joe Biden reveals the bunker-like room is at the Naval Observatory in Washington, where Cheney lived for eight years and which is now home to Biden. The veep related the story to his head-table dinner mates when he filled in for President Obama at the Gridiron Club earlier this year. He said the young naval officer giving him a tour of the residence showed him the hideaway, which is behind a massive steel door secured by an elaborate lock with a narrow connecting hallway lined with shelves filled with communications equipment. The officer explained that when Cheney was in lock down, this was where his most trusted aides were stationed, an image that Biden conveyed in a way that suggested we shouldn’t be surprised that the policies that emerged were off the wall.
Hard to believe that the existence and location of this bunker wasn't classified.
But perhaps just as odd as Biden telling this story is the fact that Clift sat on the story for nearly two months before passing it to a Newsweek blog editor for posting.
Read on.

Look most Foreign spys know more about the US then American citizens. Joe didn't let out any secrets that the World didn't already know. Cheney wants to keep his torture crimes a secret and the fact he was torturing people for secret information on Russia, China and other countries. Now isn't that bike electric and what about the pastemaker will it stop if there's a short?

Jackie,

First off you are giving Cheney credit for being human, with human feelings, and caring for fellow humans, pacemaker? Hmm, if he was human.

We did not see Cheney much at all because he was working on MiddleEastern time, our daytime was night in the MiddleEast.
What hole Cheney prefers to dwell in? Who knows, but he needs to go back there.
