Cheney spokeswoman Lucy Tutwiler just sent us a response: “Vice President Cheney is preparing his appeal to the decision.”
It’s unlikely this matter will dissuade Cheney from criticizing Obama for eliminating the program that he said amounted to torture, though some Republicans are worried about the suddenly high profile of the less-than-popular ex-veep.
Cheney has also said he is seeking the documents to help with his memoirs.

Mistakes happen as the rush to cover up the CIA Torture Program it was none only Bush who signed the order. Yes he was smoking pot but didn't realize one day Cheney would need those documents. Now the Court and CIA are going by Bush's order and only President Obama can change it now. Cheney was told by his many lawyers but Darth Cheney still thinks he's President and has the power.
