Former Gov. Eliot Spitzer lost a last-ditch effort to keep a lid on FBI documents that could detail his involvement in the prostitution ring that brought him down.
Manhattan Federal Judge Jed Rakoff Tuesday said Spitzer waited too long to ask that his name be blacked out on wiretap applications filed during the feds' probe of the Emperor's Club VIP.
Last month, Rakoff ordered the wiretap material be made public, a ruling being appealed by Manhattan federal prosecutors. "The court is not without sympathy for [Spitzer's] desire to avoid another round of salacious coverage," Rakoff wrote. "Sympathy, however, can neither create jurisdiction, nor obviate untimeliness."
Spitzer's lawyers say they just learned the feds won't redact his name from the papers even though they will with some 60 other Emperor's Club clients.

And I hope that Spitzer's attorney demands that all of the client's name are exposed instead of singling out Spitzer. I realize that Spitzer was wiretapped but it is suspicious of the government and judge to protect the other names of the clients and expose only "Client 9."
Also, in other news: Source claim that Madam Kristin Davis dated baseball player A-Rod and provided him hookers. And two former agency workers said A-Rod [Alex Rodriguez] hired prostitutes more than a half-dozen times, often meeting them at the Four Seasons hotel on W. 57th St.
Interesting Davis is naming names of high profile clients like A-Rod that used her services yet judge in Spitzer's matter is protecting the Emperor VIP Club clients.

This Judge is abusing his power and even breaking the Law. John's names are never printed and if the cops give them a ticket they can mail it in they never have to come to court. Notice how none of the other names are released nor fined. Sptizer should file a civil Right complaint and have this Judge removed and then sue him. This is so personal it needs to stop. We see the public has not problem with Senator Vitter hiring prosititutes and even the Law Makers cheer his conduct. Foley is free to continue selecting young boys for sex with no one saying a word. What is wrong with this country? Prostitution has been around since the beginning of time and if only a person would read the Bible it's full of it. Now to attack one man is wrong. I don't think what he did was right but when we have to answer to our sins who will have none to report?
