Obama, Chavez shake hands at summit-Venezuela govt


PORT OF SPAIN, April 17 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama and Venezuela's anti-U.S. leader President Hugo Chavez shook hands on Friday at the Summit of the Americas in Trinidad, the Venezuelan government said.
Photographs released by Venezuela's presidential office showed Chavez, a fierce adversary of Washington policies, smiling and clasping hands with Obama at the start of the summit of Latin American and Caribbean leaders.

Everything Obama does is making history. I felt bad for Chavez as he tried to be friends with Bush. Americans don't care to remember when the oil prices were over 4 dollars Chavez gave States oil at fourty per cent discount and not one American said thank you. Even the people in Alaska were given help by Chavez as Govenor Palin said their own their own.

Mr. Kitty I often listen to John Lennon's song Imagine it could happen this time.
