Blogger Pataky litigation on Phoenix police raid is on hold

Below is the leaked memo from Phoenix City Attorney Gary Verburg advising Phoenix police that a litigation hold has been placed on the Pataky case, meaning all documents relating to the case must be preserved under legal obligation. The memo also recommends officers to “exercise caution and discretion” when discussing the case electronically.

Freedom of Speech?

This is communist when you start going after bloggers.

TGCN all this is new as no laws are up dated for the tech age. Now what's more scary is the information this blogger has on the Police Department that could even put many cops in jail. With a Senator like McCain crime runs wild. We have expect many cities have been following the leadership of Greed, Crime and lying over the pass 8 years. It was like the Wild Wild West.

It happens...I live in a large metropolitan city and was left the message "if I f*cked with them, they would f*ck with me" what recourse does a person have? I just made nice-it made life tough for my buddies on the force. We never put anything on paper, some just complained about the way they treated some protesters. Frightening the power they can have over individual bloggers like this guy, just for criticisms which may be valid.I think a big newspaper reporter would be safer if they would do the job (they won't)
