Today, the Washington Post has a front-page story about what President Bush has been up to since leaving office. His activities include working on his book, traveling once a week to “give a speech or raise money for his $300 million presidential center,” and donating canned goods to local Cub Scouts. One thing he’s not doing? Reflecting on what he could have done better during his two terms in office:
Bush feels content with his presidency, friends said. Now he will try to explain his two terms by writing a book and building a presidential center at Dallas’s Southern Methodist University so that history will have the means to judge him fairly.
“Over the course of being president for eight years, you become, in some respects, immune to all the noise out there,” said Dan Bartlett, who was a senior aide to Bush for more than a decade. “He’s secure in the place he’s in. He’s confident in the decisions he made. There’s none of that ‘Shoulda, woulda, coulda.’”

Yes the Bush Legacy is still being written. Now who could enjoy themselves when they see 151,000 dead Iraqis and thousands of dead soldiers when they sleep. Torture is now known as is the secret prisons. Torture victims are now seen and we now know the US tortured woman/children. I read an article about a month ago that said Bush was deeply depressed. Now I know it was true. The President that almost brought down the US and caused chaos around the World enjoying himself, I don't think! Just think how you would feel watching thousands stand in the freezing cold rows deep just to watch President Obama get sworn in office. Millions around the World stayed up all night to watch the event. Then President Obama's first World Tour were millions greeted him as well as World Leaders. Obama was welcome by Muslim Leaders and students. He was shown an area of Turkey that no US President has even been in. He made a surprise visit to Iraq where soldiers cheered him and hailed him as their Commander-in-Chief. Now with all that and talking to Iran who wouldn't be depressed. Bush people had him speak in Canada as the Canadan people wanted him out. His ratings keep going lower and now even Fox News can't fix it. His best friend Gonzo can't fine a job, he made sure Mukasey and Ashcrof were taken care off. Daddy Bush and MaMa Bush are going down hill as their embarrassed by how people are talking. Daddy Bush will do and pay what ever to save his idiot son's life. Look for Rove to be the one to fall on the sword and Cheney will be left to fight for himself. This is the World these people live in as you are granted your request from Satan for the money and power but don't realize at what cost you will have to pay back. Bush will go insane as others have and he isn't the first nor will he be the last. The lesson is you get back 7 times what you give out.
Rove fall on the sword, nahh!
Rove's mentor was Lee Atwater, maybe he will find religion like Atwater did.
The Gerbil is too stupid and too sheltered to realize what a mess he made, or maybe he was too drunk and high?, and still is?
I'm pretty confident that the Gerbil is not thinking indeed.
Gerbil has not had a thought since 1962...
"Gerbil has not had a thought since 1962..."
Which explains why Poppy wished that he had changed the Gerbil's name the first day that he was born to Buck.
