Manhattan madam's biz was international.

Very interesting. Sounds like Emperor VIP club part deux? International business? Like the madam and boss that recently been convicted in Emperor VIP Club case, Kristen Billie Davis did have a business that along accumulated million of dollars from her prostitution business. What is amazing is that the late Deborah Jeane Palfrey's 13 year 2 million dollar business Pamela Martin and Associates, was a lot smaller than the Manhattan madam and the operators of the Emperor VIP club. It makes you wonder why the NY attorney office was not interested in Davis' little black book of clients when the attorney office was targeting Eliot Spitzer [aka Client 9] and not the other clients. Were these clients being protected by the goverment? You decide on that.

Davis wrote this about starting her business on her website:

In 2004, I moved to New York to accept a high-profile VP position at another hedge fund. I quickly realized I was miserable in this job and decided to start an escort agency. Using my business acumen and hustling ability, I expanded this business to the biggest of its kind. We were an international organization with locations in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, London, and South America. Our client list includes many A-list celebrities, politicians and corporate powerhouses. My roster of models was more than 100 girls, many of whom were well-known models who lived double lives by working for me.

Ms. Davis, a.k.a. The Manhattan Madam, raked in over $5 million in annual sales from her prostitution business and a roster of 10,000 rich, powerful, and famous clients. In 2008, Ms. Davis closed her business—and spent four months in prison and forfeited over $500,000 in profits as part of the deal, according to court documents. Click here to read the documents.

Finally, according to a New York Daily News article in March of last year, New York Ranger forward Sean Avery's name and private cell phone number was in the little black book of Ms. Davis. Avery.was listed as a $500 client of brothel Maison de L'Amour. Of course, Avery thought this was a joke and denied the accusation of using Davis' services. But, according to New York Daily News, Avery's name is one of more than 2,000 on a computer spreadsheet, detailing Davis' X-rated operations, obtained by the newspaper. From the New York Daily News:

Some of the johns on the client list had notes next to their names with their credit card numbers, preferences or cancellations. There was nothing next to Avery's name and number - just a note that the price was $500 cash.
