A federal judge in Chicago has given prosecutors an additional three months to present evidence and obtain an indictment in the corruption case against Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
Chief Judge James Holderman granted the extension Monday, saying the case against Blagojevich is too complex to expect prosecutors to obtain an indictment by a Jan. 7 deadline.
He set an April 7 deadline instead.
The judge says "the ends of justice served by the extension" outweigh public interest and the defendants' rights to a speedy trial.
Blagojevich and his former chief of staff are charged with offenses including plotting to sell or trade the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by President-elect Barack Obama's election.

And this:
Firing the first shot in Washington in the fight over the appointment of Roland Burris to the U.S. Senate, Gov. Blagojevich's acting chief of staff hand-delivered Burris' nomination certificate to the Capitol this morning -- only to see it rejected by the secretary of the Senate.

Baby Fitz has alot more Aces to play in the future. Even Fox News is scared as they know Libby will be back and Rove will get his trial. Cheney thinks so much about Fitz he shot his friend. Bush is to high and drunk to even know who he is.
