Yes Jackie we do have someone good to replace Rod, Lt Gov Pat Quinn, he was the reason we voted Rod in again. The other choice was Judy Baar Topinka, from the former, and jailbird Ryan camp, and the extremely obnoxious arrogant Joe Birkett her running mate who is the Dupage County States Attorney in the biggest GOP county in the State.
Sad day in Illinois, here we were happy to get a President from our State, then......the Gov taunts the replacement of his Senate seat.
Rod Blagojevich worked under the soon to be in jail, Ed Vrydolyak, and he was also working for now Mayor Richard Daley when he was Cook County State's Attorney.
Gov Rod's wife is just as much to blame they are two of a kind, she may not get indicted since she was not holding public office, and her actions are not accountable to the public, but she is no better than her husband.\
Springfield (our State Captial) is calling an emergency session to block the Gov from appointing anyone to the senate, then impeachment. But impeachment may not happen because we get a new congress on Jan 13th and things won't move that fast. We can only hope the Gov resigns or steps down, but I am sure by now everyone saw his clips the day before saying go on and tape me.
