Israel’s supreme court will hear a petition tomorrow brought by the Foreign Press Association, which represents around 400 foreign journalists, demanding that Israel allow reporters into Gaza to cover the latest conflict.
The sole pedestrian crossing from Israel into Gaza, at Erez, has remained closed to journalists since Israel’s bombing campaign began on Saturday.
Two years ago, after Hamas won the Palestinian elections, Israeli authorities stopped all Israeli journalists and Palestinian journalists with Israeli identity cards crossing into Gaza, saying it was too dangerous.
Last month, as the last ceasefire between Israel and Gaza militant groups began to collapse, the Israeli defence ministry closed the Erez crossing to all foreign journalists as well, citing “security” reasons.

Update: Association of journalists has filed a petition in the Israeli Supreme Court to demand access to the occupied territories.

Smart move on Israel becaue if the United States citizens saw the out right murder of woman/children and the large part the US played in this massacre the 8 year secret would be out. We supplied weapons and planes to Israel with the plan to wipe Palestine off the face of the earth. In part it was to draw out Iran to give reason to attack and have the US join in. The direct attack on school children was the lowest. As the Media reports only direct areas the Foreign Press and the picture show the bombs are directed at citizens on purpose. Israel always brings of their suffering from the Holocaust while they are now the murders. God is watching and He will judge. I don't agree or disagee with this conflict but I will never agree with out right murder and massacre of innocent woman and children. Israel's President spoke about how one Jewish man was killed now all the Palestine people will die. Well I guess all that talk about Jewish people being the children of God was lip service as their actions are those of Satan.
