Giuliani Lauds Obama’s Election: It Makes America ‘An Honest Nation And Not A Hypocritical One’
In an interview with Sky News, former NYC Mayor and Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani said the election of Barack Obama will help America’s image abroad.
“Even those who voted against him, like me, say ‘We’re very thankful this has happened. This is the consolation prize’,” he said. “If you look at America - which I believe is a great nation… one of the terrible marks against us is slavery and racism, and I think that’s a great thing for America to have overcome.” He said of Obama’s victory:
I believe that will gain us a tremendous amount in the world community. We can now be an honest nation and not a hypocritical one.

Rove planning to ‘name names’ of Bush haters in his new book.
Karl Rove is reportedly one of the key architects overseeing the “Bush legacy project,” predicting that the President will be remembered as a “far-sighted leader.” In a new interview with Cox News, Rove rails against all the people in America who never “accepted the legitimacy of George W. Bush,” saying that he plans to call them out in his new book:
Rove sees a presidency clouded by the way it began.
“There were people who never accepted the legitimacy of George W. Bush and acted accordingly,” he said. […]
Also reserved for between the covers of Rove’s book is his checklist of the “great many of the political actors in this town (who) never accepted him as a legitimate president.”
“I’ve got behind-the-scenes episodes that are going to show how unreceiving they were of this man as president of the United States,” Rove said, adding: “I’m going to name names and show examples.”
Rice claims that removing Saddam Hussein was ‘a great strategic achievement.’
On Fox News Sunday yesterday morning, host Chris Wallace asked Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice if it “pains” her that the United States went to war in Iraq under “mistaken premises.” “Of course, I would give anything to be able to go back and to know precisely what we were going to find when we were there,” Rice said, but ultimately, she added that removing Saddam Hussein from power will be seen as a strategic success:
RICE: I still believe that the overthrow of Saddam Hussein is going to turn out to be a great strategic achievement, not just for the Bush administration, but for the United States of America, because now in the place of a country that has long been at the center of Middle East politics as a bulwark against Iran.

Rudy is sucking up. Rove needs the money for his legal fees let's hope Americans don't fall for that old trick.
Rice is hosed as for invading Iraq to get Saddam. We know it was about the oil and the position for Israel to bomb Iran. Yes Rice forgot to say the US killed a million innocent people as they slept when we bombed Iraq and missed the targets 56 times. Plus the millions of Iraq people who have to leave their homes and now live in Iran/Syria/Jordan for safety.
How many volumes of this book is Rove going to be putting out?
Rudia, did he think a guy in a dress was going to help our image?
or a guy who left his wife with small children while recovering from a horrific accident to run around with someone half his age, who later had a substance abuse problem....hmm looks like the American people picked the best guy to represent this country. Not to mention gramps had military disipline issues and graduated at the bottom of his class.
Rice? She needs to talk to Iraqis, very few feel like this anymore.
I heard a song on the radio that was done to "Walking in a Winterwonderland" called "Walking around in Women's underware" that fit Rudia to a T.
Could you imagine what image having Rudia as President would do to this country?
How little respect he would get from the Latin, Middle Eastern and Eastern European Countries?
Rove's book must include the telephone books of most major cities.
