Auto bailout effectively killed in Senate

Talkleft:

The Senate has effectively killed the chances of the auto bailout. Leading the oppositon: Republican Senator Mitch McConnell.

In a speech on the Senate floor, Mr. McConnell said he and other Republicans had drawn a clear distinction between the Treasury’s $700 billion economic stabilization, which they helped pass in October, and the proposal to aid the American automakers, which he said raised questions about which industries or individuals deserve help.

Now surprise with McConnell but Boner Boy is a shocker. Now Kentucky isn't heavy on Auto Planets but Ohio/Michagin are. Senator Boner of Ohio is selling out his voters. McConnell said the Union should cut workers pay and health insurance and other benefits before they get a loan. Notice how McConnell gets raises as a Senator and if the word cut was said he would object. Boner Boy is living large off his kick backs as the citizens of his State suffer. Be careful who you vote for.
